Today, Steam Greenlight is celebrating its first full year since the service launched on August 30th, 2012. The service, designed to allow independent games on the Steam Store by community vote, has doubled the total number of indie titles available on Steam. A grand total of 260 titles have been Greenlit by the community so far, following the inclusion of 100 new titles several days ago.
The first-year anniversary celebration has taken the form of a Steam sale for Greenlit games, which will run until September the 2nd at 10:00am PDT. Some of the titles on sale include Dream, Evoland, Game Dev Tycoon, Kentucky Route Zero, Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, Papers, Please, Surgeon Simulator 2013, and the ultimate fan-favorite Euro Truck Simulator 2.
