Steam ID ticket

Ok. My Steam updated fine and all the games updated but when I try to log into any servers I am kept off with this error message:

You have been disconnected from the game server.
REASON: Error validating STEAM USER ID ticket (server was unable to contact the authentication server, 31)

Anyone have this problem or fix it. I've updated steam and I have validated my email address. Any tips/suggestions to fix this? Is this on my side or theres? And I know the server is up because my friend is playing on it. (btw, this is the case for all servers)

This happened to me, but when I tried to reconnect to the server I got in. Apparently logging out of Steam and then back in fixes these Ticket problems.

Ah yes. I tried that shortly after and it worked. I didn't realize the first time i exited that there was a new exit and loggout button. That worked though. So im good. THX.
