ironman: Systemshock32 said its working for him, might mean its certain Steam servers that are down.

alright to get back on topic do any of you no how to fix this problem ? where can i get a cs:s update, not from steam?
 
The login servers for the US is down, there was a big poweroutage in seattle apprently just wait untill it's sorted.

Apparently if your steamID starts with 00 it works, if you have 01 its fooked.

well then i guess im screwed cause i cant log in along with million more others. but did this happen auto. or did it happen when people logged out? cs:s started acting up around the time when steam crashed. wtf. uhhhhhhhhhhhh they better get it fixed, or else theyre gonnah have to dish out some omney to pay for the lost accounts, i hope they do it in alphabetical order, im in the c's
 
Probably server just needs a restart and no ones in the office to-do it.

Server admins probably travelling up to the servers now.
 
better or theyre gonna be the ones paying for it, but how the hell could a big company like valve just crash?
 
Servers go down.

MSN messenger went down last week for the whole day all of the accounts where unacessable.
 
Would be impossible if no one was at the offices todo it.

So I can only guess that someone is either at the office sorting it out at the moment, or they are going to the offices to fix it now.

BEN do you know why they havent started it back up yet? two+ hours?
 
no 1 important probably knows about the problem some 1 should e-mail valve/steam
