steam + new vids = ?

well actually it says "almost immediately", so i gather it'll be a few hours after the launch maybe....

The next step will be to release the remaining three Half-Life 2 movies, fix the remaining issues with the Riot Shield in Counter-Strike, and any remaining issues with Steam. This will happen almost immediately after the Steam beta ends.

Almost immediately could mean anything from a day to a week. But Erik seems to imply we'll get all three movies at once. Maybe we'll log onto Steam final and the movies will be there.

But probably not.

I disagree. I think Valve will release something new to kick off Steam coming out of beta. It might not be a Half-Life 2 movie, but it'll be something.

I read you need to intialize a new account first, because they're restarting the system fresh. As far as release time goes, I think I read somewhere that it'll be around 11:00 am (not sure which time zone, PST I'd have to guess).
