Some bug reports on the Steam Community Discussions Board have revealed a "Kid Mode" which users are getting stuck in even though they shouldn't have access to it yet. The issue, which Valve are aware of, seems to happen randomly while using Big Picture Mode and can only be solved by restarting Steam.

The upcoming parental control feature appears to use a PIN number system to prevent younger users from accessing games which are given a higher age rating than the set limit. While little to no other details are currently known, this mode will probably be welcomed by parents who want to let their kids play F1 Race Stars but not Saints Row IV.

If that's the case, I look forward to seeing what their new Subscriber Agreement will look like.

IMO, I don't blame the games for containing mature content, I blame people for not being mature about it ;)

What kind of responsible parent lets kids play racing games full of realistic, deadly crashes, yet keeps their kid from being properly educated about sex toys and the concept of the fourth wall?

Not to mention kids these days need to know how to pointless reference other, superior works while attempting to "hilariously" parody everything in sight!

I guess you could also argue how responsible it is to reproduce in the first place.
