I dont know if this has been discussed but is there away to uninstall the silver package? I searched for the answer on the Steam site but couldnt find any.

Do you mean get a refund? If so, I doubt it, as Valve are not obliged to give you one*. Try emailing them though, they may have a system in place.

If you mean how do you remove a game from steam, right click on whichever game in the steam "Play games" window, hit properties and click "Delete local contents"

*Because I know some smart arse is going to come along and say, "Yes they do, my mum said" let me say: No company has to give you a refund. Ever. If they sell you a product they must replace it with the same or similar product. If they give you a refund, it is in the name of customer satisfaction, not because they have to, with the exception that they cannopt supply a replacement, then they do have to give a refund.

As the steam package "cannot" be defective (Given the way it is delivered) you are not entitled to one. But like I say, email valve and ask, just because they don't have to diosen't mean they won't.

Okay ill do that. I mean that I just got the silver package today and I wanted to uninstall it cause it gave me this error:C:/Program Files/Valve/Steam/Steam.exe File:Src/CacheFileFixedDirectory.cpp Line: 1565. m_uEntriesInUse <= m_uMaxEntries. I got the bronse package like 2 weeks ago and now I just messed up my chance to play HL2. And I thought if I unistalled the silver package or deleted it (whatever) it would let me Steam and CS:S again. I've never gotten this error before. So it must've been when I purchased the silver package.

It's nothing to do with what games you have, don't worry. It' just a memory leak that will eventually be fixed.
