Steam Update (25th October 2004)

Just rebooted, and DOD:Source and CS:source started updating.

take a look at the banwith graph...theres a major drop in it!!

An update to Counter-Strike: Source has been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Here is a list of the changes:


COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE CHANGES / ADDITIONS:

Fixed server reliable buffer overflow errors

Fixed BroadcastMessage:Reliable Broadcast overflow issue

I think it's safe to say support for hl1 games has been dropped. Amazingly i found a bug in CS1.6 that allows you to fire 3 shot glock bursts at a semi-automatic speed. That guns a beast, and the secret remains with me so they don't patch it.

Fusion I would say that indeed support is dropped, or at least majorly put on hold until Half-Life 2 and such are out the door... They probably want to fix all the bugs they can before release (one of the beauties of Steam!)

I just checked the monitor window, and it says that my DoD Source is at 100%...

CS:SOurce needed that update. No, it is not uinteresting since DOD:S is not completed yet nor ready to play... just means u have some basic ip files in there telling Valve about your PC.

Yes, I thought I saw that happen to me once... I thought I was in normal semi-automatic mode but realised that it wasn't... pity I wasn't shooting at the enemy at the time haha
