Valve have posted another Steam update.[br]
[br]
<quote>"The releases we have coming over the next few weeks are piling up, which means that over the next month we're going to be very busy but the communty is going to get a lot of new content. In between trying to get all of the work done for the Day of Defeat: Source and Counter-Strike: Source releases we have planned, around Valve we've been playing a lot of Darwinia. We play virtually every game that comes out, and it's rare for everyone to be universally excited about one in the way that have with Darwinia. We're looking forward to putting it in front of people December 15th on Steam." </quote>[br]
There's also info on new products in the Valve Store and other tidbits available in the full update here.

Can't wait for Darwinia.
Well, you don't have to wait... unless you want to buy it through Steam.

It was released at the beginning of April.

Going to be buying some of those!

It was about damn time somebody posted about it :p

Well, I was hoping for a release this week, but I suppose another week won't hurt.

You talking about the SDK Update or something? Because yea Jay Stelly posted in the VERC forums that it would come early next week most likely :)

MMMM, DOD:S SDK...

I hope. HDR at least.

Early next week, that will be nice. Hope it will be worth the wait, and hope HDR works pretty well for the the custom maps. And I also can't wait for HDR in dadgum cs, lol, i'm just an anxious fellow I assume.

We have nothing to show. Buy our stuff.

No wonder Valve takes ages to release stuff. They're playing every game! From interviews I've read alot of developers don't even give the time of day for their 'competition'.

Yea, I couldn't help but think that also. I found it rather interesting, that that's where all their time is going into, lol. But then again, this is free additions to our games, so how can we hardly complain (besides DOD:S of course, 4 maps is hardly a game, I suppose).

Do Valve use spellcheckers?

This is a topic concerning Steam.
It even contained some advice concerning LAN-parties from which others on this site can benefit.

Why was my experience with the downside of this system removed ?
Is it not allowed to say "bad things" about Steam, even if these things are funded and brought in a serious way ?
Or was it just the mentioning of "illegal" solutions that triggered some admin ?
In which country is this site located ?

Monk.

It's one thing to relate your bad experience with Steam, and quite another to encourage users to deliberately pirate Valve's products. Amend your conduct accordingly.

Wtf....

We need some new news so that we can post about something else. This thread has been languishing for 3 days, come on guys, isn't there something going on so we can talk about something fresh! GEEZ!
