Steam wont connect (need serious help, nothings working)

Well as no doubt many of you know theres problems with steam all over the board.

I've tried everything from every steam netwrok topic to deleting files to re-installing to everything, but nothing works. Client.blob does nothing etc etc.

Anyone got any ideas? I REALLY dont want to have to reinstall windows because thats just a pain in the arse...

I've got that. Everything but the actual steam program works fine in offline though but I can't access Friends and stuff. Someone help us please...
