What the hell is happenning with Steam ?
First, when connecting to a server, it gave an error saying it could not get a ID ticket for authentication.
Then, when restarting STEAM, it couldn't connect and gave the "you appear to not be connected to internet, retry/go in offline mode".
and now steampowered.com is down ?

this isn't a steam support forum mate. pretty much all questions can be answered on steampowered.com. but steam seems to be working fine for me.

i wasn't trying to get '"support", i just wanted to see other's people point of view - steampowered was down so i could not really go anywhere else, and at any rate this is an off-topic thing, right ?

Yes i heard that steam had some problems

i get problems when an update comes along. sometimes it says it cant connect to the steam network. i completely uninstalled steam and downloaded the cs steam package from fileplanet.com, and started from scratch. it logged in straight away and updated. steam is completely stuffed sometimes.
alternatively just keep trying to log on. like the friends network on steam...ull get in eventually if u just keep trying.
