looks like they've changed the website, now the only page is the get steam now page...

they're also saying everyone has to download the new installer which is different than what was up there previously...it used to say that the beta would update itself..

not that this helps anyone, like me, whose steam just hangs every time I try to do something...

It's about time they changed it and put a low bandwidth one on.

(And about the Steam hanging thing, when you start up Steam, wait 5-10 minutes. Whenever I start up Steam my hard drive makes "Working" noises, and if I do anything, it hangs. But if I just leave it for 10 minutes, it works fine.)

Hmm, Actually, if you shut down Steam properly you don't have to wait for 10 minutes.

It could be cache checking thing for when Steam isn't shut down properly.
