Stepmania + hl2?!

I was playing Stepmania today, and was doing good for myself, actually completing a level on standard (no this isn't a thread of my skill, cause I have none! ) but anyway, the song at the beginning of HL2, while your running to eli's lab...the massive amount of Bass...2nd song on soundtrack I think. Anyone know how to make the steps and stuff for Stepmania and do it well to that song? imo, that would be good......[/random]

im not sure how to make sim files, i think that's what they're called anyway, there might be some tutorials on some sort of fan site, also isn't there a song editor or something in step mania already?

Yes, Stepmania is freeware for the PC and can be found at www.stepmania.com

It does have an in-game stepfile editor which I have used and workds fine. All you need is the song and know what the BPM is.

BTW I think that's a good idea.
