New Zealand authorities have blocked a couple's bid to officially name their new son "4real," saying numerals are not allowed.

Pat and Sheena Wheaton said they decided to name their new baby "4real" shortly after having an ultrasound and being struck by the reality of his impending arrival.

"yup thars a baby in thar!!!"

idiots!!! poor unborn kid has no chance

Beginning with numbers? YES. I'm changing my name from Matt to M4tt

4real? R DAY 4REAL?

This is just sad.

Unless his last name is Biatch.

the server must be blocking numbers in the name creation

What are these magical rules which stop me from naming my offspring 1337h4x0r and 4chan4TW?

It would be pretty sweet if we started naming our children like machines

"Issue 879345, did you make this mess??"

like that generic sci-fi film on channel 6789.

oh thank god, as long as it isn't "Bubb Rubb" WHOOO WHOOO

If ever twins are unlucky enough to be born from my seed I'd call them 'ORly?' and 'YaRLY'

Fo dizzle! Dem govvinmints iz getinn us dizzown!

Seriously though, mum works as a Kindy teacher, you should hear some of the names her parents give their kids. This one would be in the top 10.

You should need a ****ing licence to reproduce, honestly.

you mean I can't name my kid "!"?!?

lame...
You have to imagine what kind of life you'd be setting him up for. He'd constantly get teased with people yelling, "SURPRISE!" at him all the time.

He'd fall into a bad crowd, get mixed up in some serious shit and end up joining a terrorist organization. Then one day he's out on patrol in the arctic circle with his ak-47 and some guy pops up out of a cardboard box and snaps his neck. Poor !.

Heard this on Bob and Tom. Pretty pathetic... --;

I suspect that it has less to do with the fact that it's an exclamation mark and more to do with preventing people from constantly asking him if he has any quests

ya I went there
