Too lowpoly, I'd say.

And take those ugly RIS off :p
 
Looks good, except for the scopes, since they're larger and right in front of the view they should have more sides to make it look more round so the sides aren't that obvious. I think it would look better without the RIS, make it the classic Steyr AUG.
 
both models are the same nightshade.
Going a little low Poly mate ;)
You should try some normal mapping with it.
Also; Whats the poly count? And you have a few 5 sided + polys there. Max polygon size should be 4.
 
How many triangles are grouped into polygons in the model doesn't matter, so there is no 'max polygon size'.

well, for the sake of argument the max should be 3... since that is what gets exported. But the exporter automatically converts all polies to triangles when it is exported.
 
Yeah im gonna make more sides on the scope im the final version, I think the rifle will end up at about 2800 triangles when its done.
 
Bastard! I'm doing the AUG :p. Looks good. Are you going to fire that without a muzzleflasheliminator?
 
Somehow the AUG doesn't strike me as the best sniper. :LOL:

But maybe a laser pointer... :D
 
I like the way you model. Don't leave anything for the texture guys :-P Soon my services won't be needed. Good stuff man, as always.
