Still willing to call the HL2 box pic fake?

Use a paintbrush with white color? Come one it even has brightness filters to do that for you.

You can even make a positioned light with the damn thing.

I did a super-quick superimpose. You can see the keyboard, box, and cd's are in exactly the same spot. It's a FAKE. PHOTOSHOP. The other 3 are other examples of fakes. (Ridiculous ones at that.)
 
The STALKER fake is very very well done, though.

I mean seriously, think about it. Microsoft lets a couple of people beta test Longhorn. The rules are, they cannot tell, show, or lend the beta tested version to anyone, or they could spend time in jail.

My teacher told me about that once...I think it was cause he had read beta testing rules when his son was going to sign up...

That's what he told the class...maybe it was a joke...but to me, he sounded really serious, and the rest of the class thought he was serious

There isn't a signup for Longhorn beta.

And all public tests are usually accompanied with a NDA saying you cannot disclose any information not known by the general public.

However internally it's a whole different story. And that's like it everywhere. Take your eyes of the prize, and you loose it.

That's why everyone from testers to workers get harsh NDA's. Although it seems very unlikely it can indeed be a matter of millions if information is not secured.

And with the new terror/hacker laws in the us it shouldn't be doubtful you can actually go to jail for it. It is afterall the economy you're ruining.

And that is a sweetspot in the usa.
 
Those 2 boxes were physically made, it wasn't just a photoshop edit..
 
What is this "photoshop" and can i get it online or is it available at a store? Ive got some ideas....:)

Amazing isn't it? I mean how does he get the CD angles on and everything. This guy could put Michael Jackson next to OBL and you'd believe it!

How can you not know photoshop, christ... most net whores make their first photoshop before they see real breats with their own eyes not in a magazine or on the net....

jeez i cant belive you guys are arguing that this is a real picture of the real cd's for hl2. it hasnt even gone gold yet. you see when a game goes gold theres usually an announcement. hl2 hasnt gone gold yet, which means it hasnt been printed up or packaged yet. please give it a rest. its the same goddamn desk and keyboard as the doom3 pictures and the goddamn box and cd's are in the exact same place how dumb are you mofo's?

besides this is what the real dvd looks like that gabe sent me.

if you want to use a legal good program like paint shop pro or photoshop, try 'the gimp'. its freeware, so it wont weigh on your conscience when you download the full version of it! www.gimp.org

No it's different. the CZ one doesn't have the same placement of logos, also it includes an additional logo.

Edit: Nevermind it might be different for localized versions

yea, you'd be amazed at what people can do with photoshop and other programs.

Im so relieved that HL2 doesn't come in a dvd box. Call me old fashioned, but I love the feeling of buying a game with a box that unfolds etc that has a wicked manual inside etc. Whenever I buy a game in a DVD box I kinda feel like "Ok, where's the rest of it?"
 
Manuals fit in a DVD case... just have a cardboard fetish?

Yeah me too, i prefer those good'ol boxes. If it was DVD, i have no where to keep but together with all my other DVD which is in another room, and i'm not gonna walk all the way there just to get the darn discs

If someone else has posted this in the last page, then I'm sorry, but I just saw this post, and wanted to comment on it.

This "CD" is a CD of the HL2 movies that can be found anywhere else.

This "CD" was also packaged with CS:CZ. I have the exact same CD.
