Stop Valve from announcing dates thread!

Everyone, post here to support the "Stop Valve from announcing dates" movement.

We've formed a group that will attempt to silence Valve when it comes to announcing any specific dates.

They are allowed to use still use words like "soon" and "giddyuprambomonkeyman", but specific dates are banned.

In regard to your other point, yes, I am being optimistic, 1. Because any sign of tangible HL2 activity is in my mind (and the mind of many others) bringing the game closer to our hands, and 2. Because I can excuse Valve for their goof-ups, sure they miss deadlines, but I can honestly say I sure as hell have missed many deadlines also (aka school...) - so for all those anti-Valve bastards, you really need to find something else to flame about, me on the other hand, I don't care if I waste one day by constantly checking to see if the preload has happened, hell I don't mind thinking that the game was going to come out Sept. 30, 2003, and sure I get a little (emphasis on "a little") irritated by Valve missing deadlines, but so what, look at the fans of Duke Nukem Forever, permadelayed...

So in closing, Valve thanks, thanks for making probably one of the best games I have ever played back in 1999 to even today. Thanks for the chance to Beta test an amazing game. Thanks for being Valve!

Perhaps release dates for the new release dates for the upcoming release dates?
