Here's the second "Story for an image" contest. The first was quite short so let's get a few more entries in this one!

The Way It Works:
1. I will post an image
2. You will make up a story that is about the image
3. Then, when I think there will be no more entries, there will be a vote and we will decide who wins.
4. The Winner will create a new thread with a new image.

Rules:
Entries can be of any length, but let's keep them as short as possible to stop many tl;dr's.
you must use the picture that is provided, and the story must be based around it.
you may only submit one story per thread.

Ok Here's the image:

Good luck!

When he found the note, he wept.

"Dear John,
You never understood me and you never cared about me. By the time you read this, I shall have put an end to my life - in the only way I know how - but I will see you on the other side.
Mary."

NO JOHN.

YOU ARE THE ZOMBIE.

And then John was a zombie.

I was wondering how you were going to fix it.

Not the most elegant method, I say.

Well, why don't you show me a better solution?

(let us ensure that all our answers in this thread also be valid captions for the image.)

Hiding a lower case letter with the silver color!

But that doesn't work if people use the Blue color theme!

said the elephant to the girl while she had her head in his mouth.

The premise for 1girl1elephant was good, but when it came to the day there were some issues with vomit transfer.

You all broke my thread! I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

*weeps*

ELEPHANT HAS MUTANT BABY

Today at the Ft. Worth zoo, little Kimoo, the resident female elephant, gave birth to a very...different bouncing baby.

"It came straight out of her mouth!" Zoo instructor Marshall Wethers told Associated Press reporters today, "I've never seen anything like it!"

Zoo authorities are currently running tests on the human-like creature. Apparently it lacks all vocal and communicative skills, but is very fond of smelling things. "DNA tests are being run to determine just who...or what this thing is..." Zoo spokesman Bob Jimbo reported, "But one thing's for certain, its no elephant!"

How Humans Are Created

An amazing experiment today proved that, when an elephant drinks stagnant water with human DNA mixed in, it will spit out fully grown human beings.

"This is a great day for science!"Dr. Newberg exclaimed. "Who knows what kind of cancer could be cured from stagnant water and elephant spit."

Hopefully more experiments will lead to more amazing discoveries.

In an attempt to mimic the birds that sat on the root of his hut, Humphrey decided to feed a visitor using a similar method.

Needless to say, it didnt go over well.

Even as it started eating them one by one, the occupants still chose to ignore the elephant in the room.
