who here is actually going to try to purchase the Strategy guide for HL2 from amazon?, today i was in best buy and i saw the Condtion Zero one.... sooo they obviously do this now?

Strategy Guides are for n00bs, or people who want stats on weapons and enemies.

yea, i feel the same way, but you know there are people who would kill to see HL2 maps, plus doesn't that mean that all the levels are done, sooooooo what are they working on now?

this one too. strange. its probably a big shaft to get your money then say "oh sorry, its not actually available yet"
but if someone's willing to try it out, post your results doesn't seem to say preorder anywhere.

i'm pretty sure this has been discussed anyway, but i wasnt paying attention.

i saw the Condition Zero Prima guide in Best buy today, so maybe its real?

They even have a Condition Zero Strategy Guide in EB in New Zealand stores... Prima taking full money making advantage of the leaks I guess.

Well I work in a bookshop .. so I phoned the publisher to ask them to confirm publication date of the guide but they couldn't tell me a definate date.... Lady on the phone said she would phone me back but never did before I left for my 2 weeks holiday \o/~

Unless Amazon are "special" lol, then they made a mistake.

Yes, the reviews are jokes. You can't get the strategy guide yet. Gabe himself has said that Amazon doesn't have it yet.

Meh if Im stuck in a game I just search for a walkthrough @ google, unless I really like the game then I need to be REALLY stuck before searching, then I dont mind walking around in circkles
