I dont know about anywere else but it seems that its becoming quite popular here in Australia also becoming quite deadly in 24hrs 2 p plate drivers smashed there WRXs in too a pole and tree both cars split in half, anywayz I waz wondering what is it like in the other countrys.

Run the mile, run the risk!!

It's always been dangerous, though nobody actually cares what happens to the people doing the driving, the more of them who kill themselves the better.. its the innocent people who have nothing to do with it that end up getting killed cause some dick in a car thinks he can control it.

It's just another reason why anyone under the age of 25 should be grown in a box and not allowed into society until they can learn basic behavior.

Wow I'm in a mean mood today lol, damn trying to quit smoking haha

Loads of it in the UK. Quite amusing really, the police do not give a damn...

I've never dragged but I have driven like an idiot...in my parents BMW too.

Whoa. What was I on?

Of course it's popular here...we made "The Fast and the Furious", after all. And that's depressing, because in my personal opinion it's just another representation of the increase in materialism among Americans. Grrr, street racers, grrr.

lol I'm guessing you're 26? :p

Street Racing, psssch, its more like running from the Cops nightly.

I think about a year ago, there were two cars street racing around where i live and one of them smashed into another car that had newly weds in it. The newly weds were both killed and the street racers were unharmed.

If someone built a track and charged to race and made tournaments for these people they would make alot of money.

There are a lot of people out there who shouldn't be allowed to to even go near a car.

People in America have done what I said about. They have a proper league as well.

yeah street racing is common here as well.
on Monday mornings u can find skid marks on Queen St. here in Brampton.. of course its very ideal racing Sunday nights on a street with multi lanes :|

edit: just wanted to say that i wish there was a place they could go street racing instead of just doing it on the streets and possibly risking other pples' lives.

how can you street race off the streets? If these people werent idiots and decided to turn what they enjoy into a hobby, there are other organised safe ways they can race in Britain.
They just want to cause trouble and look like idiots.

Thankz for that, Its nice to hear some opinions about this, because its becoming a major factor in our road death's in Australia. There are many law in the air about this but nothing is beening done. The car that are sold in Australia are quite high proformance, In Tamworth were i live i have seen twin turbo skylines, V8 lexus's, even some dreadfully ugly turboed pulsars which are all jap imports.

I drive Australia made Mitsubishi magna / Diamante if you live in the USA
plans are to get it turbo though...not to race it, just to say hey weres you turboed magna.. ( There not made with turbo's in any model )
