Strider question.

You remember the infamous strider sequence from E3 2K4. well I was wondering if that was in the final version?


I want to first see the strider(in battle) in a monumental way that you did in the E3 vid.



Is anyone that far that can tell me?

I believe the 2k4 strider scene IS in final game.

You know the bit where you come down that lift, and everyone shouts "Strider!" and he comes round the corner.


Not 2k4, I would be suprised if that wasn't in.

The first time I saw a Strider was just after I got off the train and was wandering around C17 before

hooking up with the underground railroad

, near the playground. There's an alley where you go right, and to the left, some Combine are harassing some random schmoe, and a Strider was walking by. It was perfect; you just catch a glimpse for about a second or so.

Yea that is one of my favorite scenes..it's so wicked listening and watching the strider walk by past the guards.

Pretty awesome..it was part of the official trailer.

You dont actually get to fight them untill you near the end of the game, but when you do its well worth it. there one of the hardest enemys in the game.
