Whether or not it would be possible to disable a strider is un-important, because you won't be able to. They're just made of metal, you'd bounce of. But, my god it would be cool to knock one over then waste it up when it's defenceless... Except for its MASSIVE GUNS!

Firstly those spikes dont go into the ground so thats not a problem. Secondly they arent made of metal (i think theyre made of chitin) Theyre synths so they are living. But i dont think that driving into it with a car would do any damage because if you super charge your gravity gun (via cheats) And then throw a combine APC into it 20 times it still doesnt do any damage. They are not effected by physics like that. (sorry to sound like a smartass)
