striders and gravity gun (spoiler about useage of gravity gun)

As you should know there are two types of gravity guns

one to be used on organic material and another to be used on inorganic material

and the striders are biomachanicl.
so which one would you use on the striders, if u can use any on the strider at all.

I doubt there are striders in the citadel, where the gun gets more strong.

There is one Strider in the Citadel, but is unaffected by the gravity gun.

grabbing up one of those plasma thingies with the grav gun from the verticle tubes and shooting it at the strider takes it out in 1 shot

Damn, that did not happen for me, had to whack it a good few times... The worst thing is i hadn't noticed the orbs at this stage so i was throwing dead combine soldiers at it for a while first

I fired one of the ball things at a strider and it just got hurt real bad and ducked real low. Didn't bother firing another one. Just got out of there

I fired one shot at it, which incapacitated it, then another which basically did nothing to it, then on the third shot the strider blew up into chunks...at which time I proceeded to swing its leg around as a weapon.

Also, you can see there are four striders in the citadel, MiccyNarc.

I killed the strider with the energy balls. You can then pick up his legs and other body parts with teh manipulator.

Of course! Could not understand why different people had to hit it different amounts of times. So all you one shot'ers out there... easy level, shame on you

im yust wondering ive looked at some screenshots and it seems that u can get more weaponds at hard than on easy?

have anyone seen that?

Took me 3 or 4 shots to take out the Strider.

And yes, it all depends on difficulty.
If you are a newb playing on easy, of course it will take one hit
