I'm told there's a box of RPG's on the other side of the street. After I go through the tunnell, the side of the crater are too steep & I can't make it up onto street level. Assistance, Assistance!

I can't fire HL2 up to test this theory right now but I remember rightly you have to reach the other side by passing through the structure in the centre of the courtyard (I can't recall whether you ignore that crater near to where the Strider is stomping around or if there's a route nearby).

Either way, try back-tracking from the tunnel/crater part and heading to the centre, and from there you can go forward, right, and back in the direction you came from to find yourself behind the debris fronting the large building- the rocket crate is dead ahead.
