Stuck at elevator,,,

A little bit after the beginning, i get knocked out, and this woman rescues me, when she opens up the elevator and tell me to go down there, she wont push the button to send me down, am i doing something wrong? :hmph: I really want to play this game, but it doesnt work even there...

3) If the answers to both of the above are yes, then walk into the elevator. If that still doesn't work then verify the game files using steam.

4) If either answer to questions one or two are no, then GTFO PIRATE!!

5) If none of the above work then reinstall the game.

You probably just explained the problem. Ask your friend for the CD key and stop using a crack, if you're really borrowing it (which I doubt).

If you really own the game, here's a tip: Open up Steam and go to your games list. Right click on Half-Life 2 and hit "Properties". Then click on the "Local Files" tab and press "Verify integrity of game cache".

Try restarting the level.

So borrow your friend's steam account, not the game only.
