Stuck At Water Hazard

Hi Guys,

Got as far as the Water Hazard section and fought my way to the dam and through the control-room , through the garage and out onto the terrace. Past the guard with the machine gun, into the pump building and killed all the enemy in there. Went of the stairs to find the dam opening control is destroyed.

Obviously I have to open the dam to pass through on the air-boat. I then thought of stacking the boxes and crates on the cart after pushing the cart over to the dam end of the terrace, to get over the fence and try to open the dam manually. Got the crates stacked but it will not let me jump over the fence. Been trying for about a week now and I am a bit sick

There must be another way past this bit that I have not worked out yet. Can anyone help?

There's a sort of big hanging metal beam somewhere in the area that you can release by shooting up some explosive barrels; it'll swing down and knock the gates open.

The only chapter in our walk through we don't have I'm writing it up right now, to fix this problem.

Return to the area where the controls for the floodgate are, look right, shoot the barrels and watch the show.

Really? I parked my airboat next to the wall and climbed on top of it :/

Marvelous advice peeps. It worked a treat. Made my way to the rebel base and I'm now trying to get out the other side after something went a bit pear shaped when playing fetch with dog.

lol yeah whenever you're in a fix in the first half of the game, look for barrels to blow up.
