Stuck at Water Hazard

I am at the point where you killed the 2 APC, got under the dock, and supposed to jump over the ramp into a tunnel to face the boss of the level. But I cannot seem to jump into the tunnel through the ramp! I have tried for hours trying to jump over the ramp but everytime I hit the broken bridge and couldn't get into that tunnel. Has anybody ever seen this? please help.

Infact you may be doing it wrong. There's a opening in the fencing at the far end of the dock, hop out the airboat and into there. Go into the red metal crate, destroy the barrels and move the airboat into the tunnel. then take it from there. Or have you done that?

It sounds to me like you've done everything right. It took me a couple tries to make that jump I kept shorting the jump and hitting the ledge. I was getting really frustrated. Just make sure your lined up with the ramp and have enough room to get up to speed and you should make it.

I think I am indeed doing everything right. Mr. FCBob described the problem, which is I backed up, and keep hitting the ledge as the air boat flies across the ramp...I'll keep try..but if anyone has any more tips I'd really appreciate this.

The weirdest thing...I was able to get under the duck without shooting the barrels, and without blow up the barrels, I couldn't jump through the ramp. I then blew up the barrels, now I can jump through the ramp! The two things should not be related, but I couldn't jump w/o blow up the barrel first...a bug???

ok, do you crash in mid-air? i got over that, its an invisible wall of some sort, but you have to jump pretty high to get over it. i just play that level in garrysmod and lift the boat over the invisible wall. otherwise you have to jump pretty high. i had that problem too.

Yeah hl2 has many sercrets.. only the clever ones can understand the game hehehehe.. as for me i completed hl2 in 8 hours.. well not the second or the third time either to be exactly..
