Stuck in Kanal

I am stuck in the kanals. It is a part where you break through an air vent and those razor things come at you in a rom filled with gas cans. I blow up the cans and kill the razors and I can either go up on a platform to a room of pipes that is seperated by a fence that I cannot get through. However, I go down from the original room and there is a lower room of water with a tunnel that I can only get in by building steps out of the cans in the room above. When I go through that tunnel, I go to the room that is on the other side of the fence from the pipes. but, I do not know how to get out of that room. If I look way up I see where I think I need to go (a ledge with stairs leading to a hallway), but, I cannot get there because the ladder is on the side of the room with the tunnel opening. So...

Is there an easier way to get from the main room with the flying buzzsaws out of this section than from the tunnel in the room below?

If so, how? (I have tried to walk across the pipe at the top of the main room because there is an air vent that I cannot get into.)

If not, is there an easier way to get in the tunnel without stacking barrells? It took me eight barrels.

Once I go through the tunnel, how do I get out of that room?

As mentioned. Get to the chamber full of pipes, lower yourself down and turn the valve, get back to the first chamber and swim through the tunnel to the other shaft (separated from the one full of pipes, by a grid). You'll then need to swim down and bust some stuff at the bottom, to allow some crates and debris to float up. Climb onto those and get up onto the other side.

The first time I went i spent an hour struggling to stack the barrels then I gave up and started crying. The barrels refused to remain stable. Then i checked a walkthrough.

i had a big guide to help me get past that bit but b4 u stack the barrels and that, make sure u kill every manhack in the room or you'll have a buzzsaw in ur back!

It's the one you can't quite jump to back in the first room with the man hacks...

can the water rise even more, or is there some way to drag a barrel up there with me?

If it's the party I think u mean, U need to release debris stuck at the bottom, let it float to the top and jump off it onto the side

That's in the same area, but it's one room past it. The vent I see is *almost* reachable from a large pipe in the upper part of the room that you flood to get through the large lower (red glowing) pipe.

is it just a small cache of weapons/ammo stuff up there?
