stuck in laser room

im stuck in the part where your with barney and your crew of people and he tells u to disable the security in the room with a bunch of red lasers, i try to push the button but it always locked and the sentinels always kill me?
please help what do i do? thanks

u have to backtrack a little from the pic and find another way past the lasers. obviously from ur pic u can see that on the upper right hand corner is a shelf which is the only way past. retrace ur steps so u can reach that shelf.

It requires a brain to solve puzzles...you know...the thing, you use if for a hat rack

Just find the first thing that you can reach by jumping, jump to the next reachable spot. Continue till you reach the button at the end.

well i went to the right from the pic and jumped up at the lasers by the fist entrance. it can be done without touching the lazers be careful! jump to the big box to the left go onb the pipes shut down the lazers and, presto!

Btw....try crouching once in a while.

For your info, Im going to give you a hand, As you get past the first lot of lazers, to the bit where you can grouch under one, after youve gone under it, head to your left, and jump onto the pipe, and follow it around

Hm. I thought I had to 'climb' up one of the two metal 'bookshelves' (I dunno, looked like bookshelves) and jump over it to get to the switch. I found out I was too short, so i used the gravgun and carried a mine over to one of the shelves and jumped on it. It worked.

Not quite how Valve intended, but points for creativity

I love how people don't figure out the normal way to do things, so they figure out something way more inventive - on Highway 17, at that part where you have to put the car batteries in the slots for the gate to go up, my friend actually built a ramp out of cars with the gravity gun and jumped the gate!

Whats wrong with that? It showed ingenuity and also shows how flexible the game is in certain users hands.
