stuck in prison

Hi all,

I am stuck in the prison. I have just got past a laser trip wire and i need to open the gate on the ground floor. I am in the main area where the gun turrets were set up, just off the room with the alien been brainwashed sat in a chair in a cell with lasers pulsing his head. I cant open the gate on the ground floor (not the cell door with alien in) and it is doing my head in. please help

Throw a grenade in with the ailen that shutsdown the forcefield.

there is a control room right next to the one where the alien was being tortured I think. Inside is a control to open the gate, have you done that?

Have you tried using your gravity gun to pull the plug on the forcefield in the alien torture room?

You shoud be able to use the gravity gun to pull a plug out of the wall.
