Stuck in Ravenholm

For some reason the platform that is moved by the level (when on the second floor, with the endless number of zombies wandering around below) does not get into the proper position. It can not be used to jump from the roof of the adjacent building further down the game.
Is this a bug? Or does it mean that I missed something along the road?

Yes, I watched the walkthroughs. That is why I know that the platform to jump on is not in the correct position. It moved when using the level, but not far enough.

Well if you did everything the walkthrough did, I'd say it's a bug and you'll have to load.

I think i know where u are if that lever does not work and theresno way across than chances are that it's a bug.. u'll need to reload i haven't played this game in a while and i'm only at waterhazard. sorry.. but try a walkthrough or reload

I think I know the platform you're talking about. You need to pull a lever upstairs in another buildings to move it.

What platform/os are you playing it on, and have you been using any console commands? Sometimes that gets bugged if you noclip or notarget.
