stuck with the turrets

hey guys im stuck at the second round with the turrets..i've already set-up the turrets but the problem is, no combines are coming!! as in nil! thats why im stuck! i cant get out since the forcefields up..do i have to wait for alyx to come? ive been waiting for 30 min. already but still no alyx and no combines...Help!!

the first turret part? (how many did you set up). maybe it just glitched. load to an earlier time to when alyx is talking to you and play from there.

no the second one with the three turrets. i carried one to the second site with the three turrets soi had 4 set-up there. do i have to restart the whole level of nova prospekt?

Sounds like you have a cracked version of the game, and not the original purchased copy.

I had the same issue when using an illegal copy, only a few combine would attack the area. I then managed to get up to the 1st floor and found the girl waiting around the corner doing nothing. I then bought a legit copy and replayed this senario and loads of combine attacked for about 6 minutes, then the girl arrived and let me through the force fields.

answer....buy the full game from Steam!!...other bugs in cracked version include "AI disabled", which means the enamys just stand around.....***ins the whole point of the game!!
