The Belgian games site, Telenet has posted an article written by a group of 20 students who have taken a trip to Seattle, Washington to meet the guys over at Valve. Thanks to one of our forum members PvtRyan for pointing it out to us.

The article makes a very interesting read and is already causing a lot of debate on the forums which you can check out and contribute to in this forum thread.

You can find the full English version of the article here on Telenet.

Thanks also to Strikeman (the writer of the article) for correcting me on a few points too.

there is a full english version of the site, as well...
it's linked to further down in the original thread...

thanks and Welcome to the site

Too bad this was all they could get on the release date though.
Of course we had asked for a release date but we hadn't been given one. "I only have a few weeks left to complete this" was about the only thing that was mentioned.
Hopefully "a few weeks" will be something confirmed at E3. Because if it is in a few weeks that the game will go gold, then things are really looking good. :D

Hehe, thought it was about time I got off my arse and posted some news. Done quite a bit today actually. Forum moderation, wrote an article and posted some news!! :O

What else would I do on such a sunny day other than sit on here and work for this website? :p

Just for the record; it wasn't Telenet Games itself who visited Valve, it was my school who visited them; I however wrote the report for Telenet Games to publicize it.

Thanks Strikeman; I've updated the news post now :)

Also, welcome to the forums

Is this news post meant to be on the front page? Because it isn't showing it when I go there.

Works for me, Mullinator
and PLEASE, fix your sig.. get rid of the apostrophe after troll, it's bothering me.. ruining a funny quote
*Shuzer dies

It's about 4 lines too long too.

heh, I didn't notice I put an apostrophe after troll, and I shrunk it down as much as I could. Better? :bounce:

Yay, looks great

Anyhow, let's get back onto topic.. although, this is technically the same topic as the one in General HL2 discussion.. hm.
/me goes back to the other thread

UPDATE: After reading the article and seeing the pictures there is a whiteboard with dates and stuff the bottom date reads

"6/3 Start Disc RXXXXXXXX"
the "XXXXXXXX" are blocked out by some kid

it could be start Disc Replication" or something...

E3 is in a week so we might get new information about this.
