Ok so my brother (8 yrs old) comes back from his friend's b-day party at Chucky Cheeses and he found a gameboy advance sp on the ground! He already has one so I get to have this one :D. What have you aquired for free this kind of way?

Too much. I found a watch, cash, a cellphone, a 256MB SD Duo memory card...

I found a plastic katana in the mall parking lot! Score!

I found a child. I smashed it in with a hammer.

Jokes, when I say child I meant to say OLD WOMAN LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Hmm...

numerous bills, change, toys, etc... however, the best thing I've found by far is a 1987 John Lucero Schmitt Stix skateboard. The thing is NASTY :D

iPod Nano at the local ice rink's parking lot.

I found a dog! There was this guy in sunglasses holding his leash but I managed to run away from him. He wasn't looking where he was goign too good.

Omg my mom's friend at work gave her some old gameboy games...including the one game I've always wanted back since I lost it so many years ago, Donkey Kong!!

/thread revival

My girlfriend and I found a Coach purse in the mall not too long ago.

We considered keeping it since they're worth around $300 (not to mention the money that might of been in the purse), but we remembered how devastated my girlfriend was when she forgot her Razr cellphone I bought her for her birthday at a restaurant and somebody took it for themselves rather than trying to find out who it belonged to, so we turned it into the lost and found.

Then we found out that the owner came and claimed it, so I guess I feel kinda good about that. I'd hate to cause the emotional harm that my girlfriend felt after someone stole her phone.

A regular Gameboy advanced at work...I was stoked.

And a necklace that I found on the ground. I cleaned it up and gave it to my girlfriend at the time...I didn't feel sad when she broke up with me and kept it :D

I found Pitzy on MSN one day :D

ahem

Nothing really for me that i can think of =(

I found a bible.

Threw it away as soon as I picked it up.

And.... I found a memory chip once, 2 years ago. Haven't been able to find anything that it would fit in, though.

I found a wallet with some money in it, and even though I personally returned it to the owner with all its money still in it, my action had no moral worth for the aforementioned reason :(

found a wallet with over $900 when I was about 11 yrs old with 3 other friends ..one of our idiot friends thought we should return it (we knew who it belonged to) his reasoning: we might get a reward for finding it ..so we returned it and got **** all ..ungrateful bastard ..our fault for being stupid and good natured (even though we wanted something for finding it

How well did you know the person who lost it?

What was that person's financial situation, and age?

All those factors dictate how I feel about whether you should have returned it or not.

And I've pretty much never found anything worth finding. I've found people's wallets at work but I just turn them in. Not like there was any cash in them anyways, who carries cash anymore?

Should have either kept the money or returned it anonymously.

I once found 500 SEK (ca $75) on the ground. It was the best day of my life.

I once lost my wallet and it was never found. Bastards, could have taken the money and dropped the wallet with all my IDs into a mailbox.

That's an excellent idea.

Or even just take $100 each or something...that way you'd feel even less guilty.

But that wouldn't be me...I'd return it all.

Or, he should have used the money to buy the biggest crate he could find, put the wallet inside of that crate, and then used the remainder of that money to ship the crate with the wallet (and any money left) inside to the owner using the most expensive shipping method available. Evaluate the morals of that one my friend.

I once found a crapload of trading cards all opened up in a Target. We decided to turn them into a store employee.. like she gave a sh*t. WTF would I do with yugioh/dragonballZ,pokemon cards anyway? Or maybe they were baseball cards... hmmm...
I also guessed a clan's server password once on starcraft. It was the clan name... noobs..
They banned me.

Back in the day I would find M&Ms on the ground and eat em....

They tasted fine.

Don't you hate it when you pick it up..look around, and just think of what door it COULD open? Drives me nuts.

Once i found about 50-100 porno magazines in the public trash can outside my friends apartment...looting ftw!!!!!

Oh yeah a few years ago I found a wallet with just one thing in it, a Super Bowl 14 coin (Denver vs. Dallas), I still have it, wonder how much it's worth.
