Stuff you've stolen.

Stole a videotape at a market once and got busted. have never stolen since that...except for a pack of cigarettes or a beer at a party..but never from a store or something..
 
A traffic cone.

A stop sign.

Some fruits outside a shop.

Various amounts of small change from my brother. (not really stealing, since he owes me a lot of cash)

A road mirror.

And I very nearly got away with a lawnmower that was being chucked out, but then some garbage-collecting dude yelled his head off and took it from me.
 
hmmm, some penny sweets :p, and some pogs (remember those ? ;)) :D, thats when I was an ickle boy tho :p

When I was a kid (about 15), me and a friend had a pretty good racket.

It was back in the day, 17.2k baud modems had just hit the market and were EXPENCIVE (Over $500). We'd go to Frys Electronics, and one of us would take the pricetag off a 2400 baud modem ($40) and slap it on a 17.2k. This would often attract attention, but as that one would walk off and take the heat with him, the other would pick up the 17.2k modem and buy it at discount. We'd then resell it for about $350. We did this about 4-5 times. My mom kept asking me where I got all the money.

What can I say, I was young. I have since changed my ways. :angel:
 
I have stolen lots of things, but I will just list the recent and expensive things.
3 Delphi hi-fi radios
1 cell phone from a place that sells cell phones, had service too
Game Boy advance
Lots and lots of games from blockbuster(about 40)
Return fraud on lots of stuff, like a hard drive, 3 xboxs, 1 PS2, FX 5900 and lots and lots of C02 tanks(steal them from the store and then return them for cash) made about $250 from that.
Also we put tape on the end of a dollar bill and stole about $150 from a change machine over a couple weeks time.

Pineapple's, Coat hangers, small dogs. Basically all the stupid pointless things people can steal. I stole 21 copies of 'maths for ages 4-8' from a school while i was waiting for my cousin to get out (no point in me having one copy let alone 21 so they are in a box in my attic)

In college, there was this Uni show around, loads of universities came in to explain what goes on, i stole some womans glasses and half a big mac, countless pens and discs, over 200 'free' books and someones keys. My life and world is fun...to me anyway.

I stole some candy, lots of water bottles, many school lunches, music (when napster was still popular), George W Bush's brain, and more.
 
Music. Not hard copies, just mp3s. I dont really know many who havent downloaded 1 mp3 in their life though.

Doesnt make it any better, just doesnt seem too illegal anymore.
 
The only thing I ever stole, I stole by accident... I was with my parents at the mall, and I was looking at CDs with my dad in Sam Goody. I had picked up a pair of headphones that I wanted because my old pair had broken... Now, anyone who's ever been in Sam Goody knows that their CDs are horribly overpriced, so I told my dad "hey, you know we could probably get these CDs from much cheaper at Lechmere (they were still in business at the time), so we left... I had completely forgetten that I was still carrying that set of headphones, and I didn't realize it until I was 10 steps out the door, and I was quite puzzled since the alarm didn't go off... So my dad looks at me and he's like did you pay for that? and I kinda stuttered an acknowledgement, and tried to position the packaging so that my hand was covering the anti-theft device... haha... I ended up ditching the packaging in a trashcan a few minutes later... but I never even meant to steal it... I just walked out the door with it in my hand.
 
I've also stolen the "BUSH '04" and "Kerry '04" signs :D
 
The only thing i've ever really gotten the balls to steal was a 25 cent carton of milk from school ... and that was this week ... :rolleyes:
 
I stole one of those litte pencil things. The ones that are like finger pupets but you put them on the top of the pencils. Yeah. I was like 9.
 
A little toy army truck from my step brother's house when I was 10 or so. It was cool because it had twin 50 cal's on it, and all my other 'hotwheels' cars were red and blue.
 
On the way to school when i was like 15 i used to steal stuff with my mate..only things like a 15p value swiss roll from Tesco's :p or a £1 pack of sweets. Though he'd like try put a £15 1kg box of Roses in my school bag or a 1kg chocolate bar in my blazer side pocket. :|

Used to steal school equipment...who has'nt? Rulers - Pens - Books - Footballs - Hockey sticks...lol but the worst thing i ever helped steal in school was a Keyboard..and no, not the ones with letters on :p a real music keyboard (is that what there called? i cant even remember)
 
I stole Condition Zero to be eligible for the CS:S beta. Actually, I just opened the box in the store and wrote down the serial number then downloaded it off steam. Thats a fault of Steam.

Funny thing is, the guy by the counter sees me and comes over. I had put away my broken 2 inch pencil (I planed this out somewhat) and the paper with the key. I'm sitting there trying to casually put the CD case in the box and he walks over and says: "Uh, what are you doing?" I immediately fired my backup plan: "Who? Me? Haven't you heard about the Counter-Strike: Beta? Yeah, people are stealing CD cases left and right to get in. I was just seeing if these hadn't been tampered with before I buy."

I know it sounds like a crappy, made-up excuse but I said it very convincingly. He said thanks and that he would keep an eye out for shoplifters. I just smirked and casually walked away (with box of course).

The guy that warns you about shoplifters, shoplifts. Classic. I later found out that if they see you tampering with the box in-store anyway, they can charge you with attempted shoplifting. I was lucky. Never gonna do it again. I swear. :)
 
Most recently I stole some music, movies, porn, and my friend's MP5 airsoft gun.

I've stolen before. Movies, a few of them. Bits of odds and ends. Shit that I don't want and don't need. Never money (I don't think) and ver VERY rarely from any person (someone I do or do not know, as opposed to a place of business, specifically large chains). I would feel very bad about that.

I wouldn't say I'm a kleptomaniac. Not quite. But I have taken things, not for money, and not that I wanted. It's not a real thrill, really. I just can and do, and then I have it, and don't want it. Borderline klepto, maybe. :hmph:

For the most part that is all in my past though. Never got caught stealing, btw.

Oh, I don't count the $100,000 dollar value software and gigs upon gigs of music. Some ppl might. I don't have a majority of that anymore though.... Lost or deleted. In the heyday of p2p I was a bit of a digital klepto I suppose.

lol, dude no I forget that the point! my focus goes onto other things. unless your just being mean :( I try to repay them in other ways, like give them 2 pencils another day etc. :p oh yeah and im a digital klepto like phishionary :D

Just to see if I could, there is a store here that doesn't go by price tags, rather they just read the number and TYPE IT IN THE REGISTER!!!
Its a general stuff store, books, pens, paper, office stuff you know the kind.

I switched the price tags between a cheap ass plastic crap agenda with an expensive 30 euro leather binded kind. They were never wiser.
This was a while ago.

A huge sombrero hat piss drunk, me and a friend messing around in a store put them on and walked out of the shop unintentionally wearing them after chatting up the girls on the till.

We then continued to wear them down the highstreet, looking stupid. :| Should of called them girls...
 
I forged false documents that gave me a bogus membership to a movie store. Then I rented a LOT of games on the cheap night and never returned them. :eek:
 
Movies, Games, Music, more Movies...more movies.

Plus some legos once from some guy who used to leave it in his desk all day.

He had so many though...it didn't matter.
 
When i was 16 me and a friend, broke into a Coca Cola distibuting facility, opend up the back of a Coca cola truck. Sat us selfs down, rolled some joints, and sat there all night smoking and drinking like mad men. That was really fun. it was like being in paradis :cheers:, untill we started to hear dogs...kinda spoiled the high, running stoned with 2 crates of coke on ur back, with a mad paranoia that there r well trained attack dogs after u....non came though...still lotsa fun.
