Stuttering Bug Rears its Ugly Head

I too had the stutter after upgrading my video card. I came across this command line switch somewhere (cant remember)

+snd_async_prefetch_priority 1

and it worked for me. The stutter was reduced down to the odd hiccup, but nothing severe. Then again maybe I was just lucky.

mat_forcemanagedtextureintohardware set to 1 + CFG's = no stuttering

mat_forcemanagedtextureintohardware set to 0 + CFG's = stuttering

mat_forcemanagedtextureintohardware set to 1 = stuttering

mat_forcemanagedtextureintohardware set to 0 = stuttering

The command will help some people, not others - just because it works on your system doesn't mean it's necessary for everyone. Different systems behave differently. So it's optional, but if the cfgs on their own don't help, you should try it.

Yes, this command helps, but you may find that you loose lip-sync in some places. The cfgs don't have that side-effect.
