"There’s trouble in online paradise. I just got word of some major drama going on in Star Wars Galaxies. The massively multiplayer game recently tweaked their combat experience system, making it much harder for groups of players to get experience when they dogpile bad guys.

According to one estimate it will now take a player four years of playing four hours a day to reach the level of Jedi. Or as Yoda would put it: Sucks some really ass that does."

SWG has an impressive economy but when you play it... I think whats the point on money when the combat and anythign you actually spend the money on is so underwhelming

Star wars was only fun when I was master doc and master combat medic when they were broken. I could buff all 3 pools to 3x their max, then I could throw unresistable AOE poisons and diseases further than people could shoot. Then I just run away and stay out of gun range and an entire group would die. It was funny to see people try to raid my guilds base, I would just walk up and take them all out right away.
