I'm on a top-end computer and a college T3. And recently I've suddenly been getting very bad lag spikes.
And I'm not the only one. Whenever I join, there's always at least four players sharing my confusion/misery. Usually, it'd be jumps from normal 10-90 up to 150-250.
Are any of you having the same problem? I can only guess the HL2-preload strain or some strange anomaly in Win XP SP2 that I also recently installed.
