Being lured into watching the first season of Sugar Rush by my female flatemates with promises of teenage lesbians I was admittedly a little disappointed, but as I watched the entire season I really grew to like/loathe/feel sorry for the characters :)

A genuinely good drama, apparently Season 2 should be on screens soon :D

Can't wait to see how Sugar and Kim deal with the police and Kim's family (I won't spoil anything for those who still want to see it!)

I must say, it's the second fantastic unashamed portrayl of almost forbidden love I've seen recently, the first being Brokeback Mountain. The setting of the film was itself majestic, and the plot of the film stayed very close to the book, and I nearly cried twice... what an excellent film!

What does eveyone else think?

i havent seen Brokeback Mountain...and i dont think i want to either tbh.

and I nearly cried twice
O.O
the great CB almost CRIED!? im stunned to say the least.

I've only cried at one other film, and that was the Dead Poet's Society :D

It's a really really great film, I had no idea what to expect, and it was simply great :)

I advise everyone to see it..

i think the only one that i came close to crying was in Schindler's List, and i was only 11-12 when i first saw it

I really want to see Brokeback Mountain. My friend and I were going to see it on Australia Day when it opened then we found out that most cinemas where we are arent allowed to show it :frown: :frown: :frown: It is coming out in one place though, so we'll go and see it there.

I'm not. When I picture mrBadger, I assume that he cries at least twice a day. Once for each random girl he screwed while drunk.

<3 ;)

that made me laugh :)

I wanna see Brokeback Mountain, but all my friends i go to the movies with are guys...except for one group but i went with them yesterday and we saw The Producers instead.

At first, I just wanted to see Brokeback Mountain because I hate Heath Ledger and wanted to see him act gay. Now, after hearing about his performance, I really do want to see him act period. I have had little or no respect for the guy lo these many years and to see him actually give an amazing acting performance sounds awesome and I am excited to get him of my 'crummiest actors' list!

The acting in that movie good as hell. But, I found the movie not THAT impressive otherwise.

I believe this movie a lot of Munich's awards!

Munich should have taken alot of the awards, it was one of the best new films i have seen in awhile. Awesome

Omg god it has gay cowboys how can you wan tto to watch to gay cowboys makeing love??!?!?!?!?

If that was a joke, it wasn't funny.

If that wasn't a joke, I request that you go f*ck yourself for being an immature little twat. :)

Oh yes, because two people who love each other is certainly way more sick than people getting shot and blown up. Yep, I definitely see what you mean.:dozey:

WOW! You win the "ignorant predjudiced jerkoff of the day" award!

Thanks for contributing to my assumption that most humans are ignorant fools.

Remember, when you masturbate... you're having sex with a dude. Good night. :p

You named your right hand "The Dude"? I mean, I liked the Big Lebowski too, but that seems to be carrying it a little far....

I prefer naming mine Neutrino

:p

If you dislike BB Mountain because of the relationship between the lead characters, you're a pathetic moron. Especially if you've not even watched it, as seems to be the case for most people who slag it off.

I dislike it because it was quite boring.

It's way effed up that places are actually banning it.

Ya, I just love how the sight of a naked man causes more controversy than any amount of violence. What's even more hypocritical is that when a movie has a lesbian scene no one even bats an eye.

Sometimes I wonder how some guys manage to take a shower in the morning...do they blindfold themselves before undressing, lest they catch a horrifying glimpse of a naked male?

I assume such people tend to avoid bathing anyways.

Prove me wrong, folks! :p
