I think they are great, but not ideal as a news reporting tool. If they were smaller and relevant to the news being posted, and were as well drawn as before, i'd say i was in love.

I think they could be really good if used correctly like the CS:S update post but as a full news article as just an image is annoying and stupid in my opinion.

the comics themselves I like but not as a news post. I still want the info of the news on the front page. If a small comic was added to the end of the newspost that'd be okay by me, but would probably take up a lot of space.

I enjoyed them. They broke up the monotony of the news page and were quite funny. I don't think I'd like to see them all the time, but Sui should definately do some more in the future. Unexpected, random art news posts = win.

Munro doesn't like it. Then again he made this site just to milk out the community, he hardly comes up, keeps pestering the good news posters by removing the images and claiming they widen the tables. He's just no longer in control of the site, because he's never here and never does anything except get the ad money (the servers are supplied freely by Limelight, what does he do with the money ? Staff never sees it i would bet).

So he responds by bombing the images.


It's a shame a community built around this random URL he bought to make money. Because that's what he does, he buys DNS and then expects the community to come in and make money. All the old admins are gone, or in constant bickering with Munro. Chris_D, Fenric (aka DarkElf), Starmonkey, FarrowLeSparrow, ComradeBadger.


I just don't come around anymore, but recently the Zombie Panic image made me chuckle. Then Munro removed it. So meh.
