summer gaming blues

Hope HL2 comes out early in the summer...as of right now I cant think of a single game that will be coming out in the next 2 months that I'd bother buying. All the triple A titles are slated for the holiday season: Stalker, MoH Pacific Assualt, SW Battlefront, Matrix Online.

Doom 3 will probably be released before HL2 but I'm not overly excited about the game....sure it looks purty but the gameplay doesnt look terribly exciting, I'll reserve my judgement till the game actually ships. Until then I'll just have to be content with my current games.

It'll be a dull summer (game wise) if HL2 doesnt come out till august, cuz nothing will be able to fit the void till then

Go buy games that are already out that you don't own, and play them.

I'm in the same boat. I've played all the games I was ever really interested in. Just waiting for the big ones to come out later this summer.

yes...me too I was thinking of taking up a hobby to pass the time but somehow "underwater interpretive ballet" just doesnt have the same excitement level as hl2. I may take up competitive BBQ'ing or Full Assualt Egg racing but they might get dull after awhile

Hey don't knock underwater intrepretive ballet. It's a very misunderstood sport. Though I'll acknowlegde that it can't really compare with the excitement of curling. There's just something about curling that really get's my blood pumping.
