Back in London now! :D

Just unpacking everything, Toronto could have been awesome if I had made friends and/or found a job and/or not been living with my grandparents, but oh well. The important thing is that I applied to university and probably got an 80 or higher in Modern Western Civilization (just waiting on the transcript now). Also I lost my Windows XP product key so my computer is AWOL until I get that figured out, so family PC for now.

It's good to be back. I missed spending hours reading these forums and reddit.

Wassup brosef! We love you!

Back to London?

But you're Canadian!

Now that you have a stable address, our plan can now go into effect.

You can only say "back to ___" if it's your country or place of origin!

Unless like you took a trip to somewhere and then after you're back home you say "i'm going to back to ___ next summer"

London (Ontario) is my hometown! Toronto (also Ontario) is where I went for a few months for school. Now I have returned.

lol veggies you so qonfusable

Could you not have got student accomadation? Make sure you do next time, best way to meet people and have funfunfun

It was an adult high school (shut it), I was just there to boost my average for uni applications. Once I make it into Ryerson or Trent, I'll be living in residences or possibly in a student house with some friends :D

Why do America and Canada insist on stealing our place-names? It makes threads like these so much more qonfusing.

For every pair of places in Britain and America that share a single name, there is a secret door. These places are linked on an occult level, London UK to London Ontario, Brighton Sussex to Brighton Alabama, Cambridge of Cambridgeshire to Cambridge, Massachusets. There are times, while the Earth is turning through the border regions of the night, in which a wanderer in the dark and empty streets might perceive the ghostly outline of the other place, a phantom city laid over the top of the corporeal like Freud's metaphor for memory. At such moments it is sometimes possible to move from one to the other. With due and proper attention to the correct procedure, anything will act as a charge. A strong thought, a concrete urge or a certain heart will take you across the gap.

So it's not that confusing really.

Any Brits that live in or near Durham want to meet up round the secret door to Durham, NC and go for a couple drinks?

Welcome back Stig. My gaming PC is still down but I am up for playing Borderlands the DAY I get that shit back online.

Anyone in Mayfield, New South Wales want a cheeky one-night stand of cross-dimensional proportions?
No?
How about Mayfield, Tasmania?
Mayfield, Edmonton?
Saskatchewan?
Cork?
Canterbury, New Zealand?
Marlborough, New Zealand?
Staffordshire?
Edinburgh?
Midlothian?
Hawick?
California?
Kansas?
Baltimore?
Michigan?
New York?
North Dakota?
Ohio?
Pennsylvania?
Utah?
Wisconsin?

Wow. Mayfield is like some sort of inter-dimensional spaghetti junction.

No one wants a ****ing portal to Michigan, US. This place sucks dick.

There are certain substances which heighten the susceptibility of a man to the stranger conditions of his world, widening the doors of perception, or at least jamming a foot in the crack. It just so happens that these same substances tend to augment the potency of the aforementioned 'deep feeling' necessary to bridge the gap. Many a man has stumbled across it while under their influence at 3 in the morning. Reginald knows this well.

Hey, Shtigmata! (that came out as Shitgmata the first time I typed it)

If one happens to be named Arthur Dent, does this help?

For a minute I was like 'Why the hell would you be glad about trading Toronto for the UK? And London!? Its a dump.'
