Well except for the fact i've never heard of cops driving around shooting shotguns(rubber pellets?) out of windows at suspects, then hop out and try to take down the perp. lol Then push him out of the vehicle.

Unless this isn't in america and they do things drastically different.


Heh. and look at the end of the video, when the guy is being pushed out. The truck bounces up... but the guy didn't get his leg ran over or anything.

The guy getting pushed out like that takes a lot of weight off the chassis at one time. Springs up a little. Like a fat guy getting out of a little car.

Look at the license plate. Also the fact that the driver's wheel is on the right side of the vehicles. Note the guy being thrown out the right side, and the cop sitting on the left door. Also the camera displays speed in km/hour rather than miles/hour

Also they're shooting bean bags I believe to break the glass so I assume it was planned to do the jump and takeover from the start.

In all fairness we don't know what the guy was running from, and apparently it was enough to make the cops want him BAD. Its entirely possible that they were justified in not just getting him off the road but it doing it before the chase entered a more populated area.

They were at a VERY close range... I doubt there's be stray beanbags.

And they used them to shoot out the window, not stop the pickup truck. As someone mentioned before, obviously what went down was planned.

He's not shooting fully lethal rounds.

(I dont say nonlethal because if you do get shot in the face with one it certainly can kill you. But what they're shooting is far different than opening fire with 12 gauge buckshot or something.)
