So does anyone know how? I really need to know.

Well, you could just put a lot of regular light entites... but it would be hard to get a uniform lighting on all the surfaces... normally you'd try the 'realist' approach (but I can tell it's just a test map) and put light fixture props and add light entities under them.

do that fullbright thing, that'll do it. But yup, will look like shite.

The lights have quadratic linear and constant sections, put a 1 in the one you wanna try, and 0 in the other two, im not sure it will create the full bright effect your after, but it does change the lights in interesting ways, I always thought there was a minimum light level setting on map properties, but i guess it only works on func_walls etc.

How do i do that in Hammer? What entity?

It's a server command. When you compile a map without lights, you client will detect that and when you're loading the map it'll say 'map not light, mat_fullbright set to 1.' If your map does have lights, but you want every surface to be totally bright, just type mat_fullbright 1 in console.
