Super Sculpey modell

Hi there.
I was thinking about makin a Gordon made of super sculpey, but when I started to make the tinfoil and wire-skelleton I realised it wouldn't be as fun as making a monster or something. But I still haven't figuered out what kind of creature, monster to make. Ive allready done a bit of the upper torso but its not looking enough anatomically correct yet and doesnt have any details. I was thinking about making it a zombie or deamon of somekind, do you have any idea what I shall make?

I might also say this is the first Super Sculpey modell I have ever made..

I like it.

It already looks better than some of the recent action figures out there.

I always like to witness a work in progress. A snark, headcrab or houndeye might be easy to do. I would like to see on of those as a sculpy. :)

yup, thats very kewl
try and make a guy with a very big sword. like dante. or cloud. Guys with big swords and spikey hair are allways kewl, its a rule :p

I have now added some more detail to the neck and fixed some things about his chest that was wrong. I have now also decided that the modell will be a half muscular, half torn, zombiefied mad scientist. Ill update as soon as I make anymore noticable progress.
cheers yall, and thank u very much for your comments.

Wow, looking pretty good. Any plans for after the modeling is done? Painting or anything?

Yep, Im planing on painting it and maby even adding som clothe. But Im not shure coz I really like the color of that clay as it is.

:O Wow, the head is looking very good. I think I can actually see teeth. I also like the details on the neck. Very cool.

Very nice, I like the neck.

What the hell is super-sculpey? I've never heard of it before... Whatever it is, it looks fun!

It's a polymer clay. Sets in the oven. Good stuff.

That's a good model. I can't wait to see it finished.

Hmmmm... I've got some Super Sculpey around here, too...

Yeah, when you've modeled the body, just bake it for 15 min in the oven before you paint it and clothe it. I like it so far.

It's looking real good so far. I suggest you headcrab him and turn em into one of those super zombies from Opposing Force. I also think you bulked him out too much. I know polyers are expensive. and don't cure very good whn made too thick but.. anyway your off to a good start. I too plan on sculpting HL characters. so it's good to have some compitition ;)

cheak out these tutorials http://www.iespana.es/sculptorscorner/tutorials.htm
