Supreme Commander forum?

Since Supreme Commander seems to be liked by a lot of people. With it's release nearing ever so closer, would a General-Games/Supreme Commander forum? Heck Elder Scrolls has its own forum piece, and it's not used any more

Just saying, that way when it DOES get released, General Games doesn't get flooded with random stuff.

There's no point. It'll become as empty as the Elder Scrolls forum, and so would've the CoH forum if they had opened it.

I think it may be still too early to bring SC back, with the large stab wound Munro received after his SC site & forum didn't work out too well. He still has nightmares I believe.

Well, that was also so far away from any release date. I understand starting HL2.net that far behind the release, but it was way more hyped than this game. TA wasn't as monumental as HL. So when someone made a Supreme Commander site, it wasn't going to be as known. Now that they release a beta and the release is soon, more and more people are going to know it exists. They havn't spent a shit load of time and money on advertising, so the best advertising they have currently is word of mouth.

I don't like the game too much, so, obviously it's not that important.

Do you have something against consoles? Console threads make up a LARGE portion of the threads in the general gaming section, especially with the Wii and such. Forum sections are created when an easy split can be made to reduce traffic in one section. This is the perfect decision.
