Oh man... I feel slightly ashamed being the only one creating threads in this forum at the moment, and only receiving help and not giving anything back... (Did i mention I'm a newb??) :o

*shakes off embarrassement*

There we go.. Allright. I'm doing a (very) small level in Hammer (beta 3.5) right now, and it's been going pretty good. Got a some cool lights, a switch for a spotlight, some prefabs and it's all good.

Atleast used to be..

So I tried making a door (opened by a switch) which led to a new small room, and now my lightings fudged. When I compile it doesn't finish the RAD bit, and so, the map looks fugly. I checked out the "map\check for problems", and this is what it says:

"Solid Entity (func_door) is empty
Solid Entity (func_pushable) is empty
Solid Entity (func_pushable) is empty"

func_pushable seems to be part of a wall (which I somehow made pushable??), and func door is the door ofcourse..

After deleting the door, and that stupid wall, the error message hasn't changed, and I've run out of ideas..

Btw, it's not a leak!

ps. I've written quite a bit now, someone please help...

EDIT!!!: What's also kind of embarrassing is after fighting this problem for an hour, and then posting this thread, I solved it after 3 mins...

"Map\Entity Report" is kind of nifty, thx Valve for *not* including that one in the tuts....

Anyways, thx to this forum for no help at all, and mods please delete this uberworthless thread.............

So... What was the prob? I guess you didn't delete the right entities?

The problem was there were empty (?) entities in the map, and I didn't know how to find them, and since they were there, RAD wasn't calculated during compile, so the map looked like ass..

I solved my problem, so there's nothing to complain about for now.. I'm a total mapping noob, that's why I'm practicing monopoly in the custom map forums asking for help all the time...

thx anyways Ti.. :)

you can always delete empty entities by clicking "goto" in the error list then hitting the delete key

Alright good to know that you have solved the problem. :) I'm sorry I come on the forum only once or twice a day... but if you have any more questions feel free to ask. And if you want me to test your maps and give some advices, don't hesitate :)
