first let me appologize as i am sure this has been asked SOO many times, maybe some one could just link me to the correct thread

Is Half Life 2 Not Multi PLayer?

I have recently purchased it and i have placed CS Scource but i thought that you could also play Half life 2 ? Am i wrong?

I downloaded it to test out my anti-virus (AVG-7 Free) and it didn't find anything.

Well Ben, technically Counterstrike:Source is the multiplayer.
But dont you worry, in what form the HL2-themed multiplayer will come (mod or add-on patch) it'll be free for you.

Yeah, it will most likely be free, Valve aren't known for milking stuff like EA is.
