The smoke rose from the desolate, blasted ruins of what had once been the pinacle of American Power. Here and there, ravens and crows scavanged from the corpses, filling the air with their cries and calls. There was no-one here to see.
Suddenly, a flock of birds took off, into the air. A shadow moved out of the thick, black smoke, and surveyed the destruction. He dusted off his suit.
The G-man smiled.
And then... it was as if he was never there.
