well worked on this today its 1600 poly, i need to get it down to 1300 - 1400 ish. its going into COD enjoy.

hmmm, looks quiet nice. With a good skin u could ad more detail and should look pritty good when finished. My only bad comment would be that the eye thingy that u sti9ck your eye into looks kinda big and thin.
 
I hate to say this, but compared to your other models, it's pretty horrible.
It look like you jsut extruded some splines. The SVD is pretty much all curve. t doesn't have all those hard esges that you gave it.

Also, through some smothing groups on that scope.

And can we see a wire?
 
sid winder, it *CAN* only be around 1400 poly, the scope is taking up alot of that, and if you Play COD you will notice alot of thier guns are very boxy, its hard to make a non squarish gun with such a low poly cap.
 
more pics i got it down to 1400 polys so its good now.

well, idoesn't look bad, but if you're really worrided about poly count, you cna jsut make the back stock a box, and give it a textutre with an alpha map for the transparnt parts, and then you'll save a bunch of polies, which you can use on the rounding :p
