Been playing swat4 tons, even with one mode and one map, the multiplayer is great, I'll be buying it at some point, I doubt I will get it the day its out though.

Was that the adventure game? I think I read that it got canned, but I can't remember, so i'm probably wrong.
 
yeah i havent heard anything bout it in ages,seemed cool,i have a cool trailer for it with some gr8 music and imagery,adventure games are thin on the ground these days
 
The only way I'd play another SWAT game is if it was like SWAT 2. I didn't like SWAT 3 at all so I probably wouldn't like this one either.
 
Looks interesting; I remember playing the first one years ago. It was the only game at the time that had 6 damn disks.
 
Man, I love tactical shooters....(not CS cause cs isn't tactical[or realistic for that matter])...

Definite buy for me. Now I just need to save up some money...
 
I found the mp demo to be nothing special, but I cant wait to see the sp
 
Anyone know if all the missions can be played in co-op and online?

(why are there so few co-op games about?? :/)
 
I feel like I'm the only one who liked SWAT 2 better than these newer SWAT games lol.

LOL. I was actually going to post just this, before I saw you had. I loved SWAT 2. Funny thing is, it seems to have gotten horrible reviews. Oh well, I loved it. This was back before I was so knowledgable about games.
 
Can someone post screens from SWAT 1 or 2 all i ever played was 3

I know, it's weird the amount of bad reviews it got but everyone I know who has played it loved the game. Infact they all perfer it over the other SWAT games. If they bring back another SWAT 2 style game I'd love it.

The funny thing about terrorists is that you could kill yourself if trapped. You turned on the attack button then targeted yourself and he'd put the gun to his head and pow lol.
 
That birdeye view for a SWAT game really wont be good. Fps is best.

havnt played it thats why i asked above, But i can just imagine it. Not very fun :/

Let me put it this way, SWAT, SWAT 3 and SWAT 4 pale in comparison and will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever be 1/1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000th as good as SWAT 2. That's how much better SWAT 2 is than the other SWATs.

So what was SWAT like? Iv played SWAT 3 only so i really dont know why SWAT 2 is so much better. Mind sharing the goods :)

Well i know that much :0 How about gameplay. What made it so "good"?
 
It's hard to describe. But the game play was really fun. One of my favorite things as a terrorist was setting up traps for the SWAT teams. They carelessly walk through the halls and trip a bomb and you can take out like three of their guys. It was a strategy game and I perfer those above Rainbow Sixesque games. All Rainbow Sixesque games jsut feel the same to me, once I've played one I've played them all.

Sounds interesting. Eh still think Swat should be a fps ;)
